Key Responsibilities
  • Come to Třinec and become a volunteer at Jordán! Jordán is a center for individuals who have experienced psychiatric treatment. The mission of this placement is to enhance the lives of service users, helping them learn to live normal lives despite their mental illness, and to positively influence societal perceptions of people with mental health challenges. Activities: As a volunteer, your main responsibilities will involve participating in various activities organized by the center. During your initial months, you will receive guidance as you engage in all center activities, including: - Morning meetings where clients share their feelings - Themed clubs (literature, geography, music) - Workshops - Sports activities - Group therapy sessions with a psychiatrist - Activities with horses - Memory training exercises - Art therapy workshops, such as ceramics and other creative forms To find out more about this project, please visit our website www.intervia.cz.
