Overview
Interns will provide qualified and specialized assistance in various projects within the Digital Bureau Solution, supporting UNESCO's digital strategy and ICT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring network performance and diagnosing connectivity issues
- Gain experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Troubleshoot network problems
- Update and maintain network documentation
- Provide basic user support and learn about helpdesk ticketing systems
- Support the deployment, configuration, and testing of AI and GAI models
- Create content for cybersecurity awareness workshops
- Coordinate simulated phishing campaigns
- Review and discuss cybersecurity policies
- Analyze vulnerability scanning reports
- Assist in designing and coding web-based or cloud-based business applications
- Collaborate on improving user interface and user experience (UI/UX)
- Prepare and support developing reports
- Assist in data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation
- Create interactive data dashboards
- Conduct testing, assist in debugging, and quality assurance activities
- Document application features, code, and development processes
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled AND on the 3rd (third) year or final year of a Bachelor’s degree; OR Currently enrolled in a second university degree, Master's or PhD degree or equivalent; OR Finished a Bachelor’s, Master's or PhD degree within the last 12 months
- Applicants in technical/vocational assignments must be enrolled in a specialized technical/vocational institution and must have reached the last year of their studies, or have recently graduated (within the last 12 months)
