Overview
Coordinate cooperation and implementation of development projects in fisheries and aquaculture value chains, supporting value chain development and stakeholder linkages.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cooperation and implementation of development projects (including FISH4ACP and NAVAC) in one or more countries
- Support and monitor value chain development implementation, facilitating stakeholder linkages
- Collaborate with consultants on value chain development and sustainable systems-based approach
- Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant institutions and stakeholders
- Integrate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) at the project level
- Support global learning by exchanging information and sharing lessons learned
- Contribute to a knowledge base on sustainable fisheries and aquaculture value chain development
- Collaborate to design and maintain databases for project data and develop budgets and expenditure monitoring systems
- Perform other related duties as required
Required Experience
At least 1 year (for COF, category C), 5 years (for category B) or 10 years (for category A) of relevant experience in funding applications and project development, international management, capaci
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in economic development, agribusiness, evaluation, fisheries and aquaculture, food science/technology, food industries, international development studies or a related field. Bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant professional experience.
