The project aims to bring together 7 international volunteers – 2 from each country – to lead a series of creative and intercultural activities. Volunteers will organise creative dance-based days for youngsters in Algyő, where participants can practice English in an informal way while learning about different cultures through movement and handicraft. The volunteers will also perform their traditional dances in elderly homes and clubs, sharing traditions through non-verbal expression. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements Food allowance and pocket money are given to each volunteer. Accommodation is also provided in the city centre. Transport tickets will be reimbursed upon arrival. Volunteers will receive a monthly pass. All ESC participants are covered by HENNER insurance. Participant profile The ideal volunteer is: - communicative & sociable; - responsible & reliable; - enthusiastic about working with teens and elderly people; - comfortable performing and dancing in front of others; - aware of their own traditions and culture; - knows how to dance traditional dances; - between ages 18–30
