Overview

The Social Policy Officer (Data & Research) will support the program in managing databases, collecting, analyzing, and presenting data on child indicators to inform policy and program action.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the program in managing databases on key child indicators and ensure they are up to date.
  • Supports the program in the collection, analysis and user-friendly presentation of data.
  • Provides timely, regular data-driven analysis for effective prioritization and development.
  • Provides technical support and/or do quality assurance of key research conducted by UNICEF Mozambique CO.
  • Supports building and sustaining close working partnerships with government counterparts and national and provincial stakeholders.
Required Experience
  • Minimum experience: 3 years Skills and experience in:
  • Research Design and Methodology
  • Data Analysis
  • Data Visualization
  • Report writing
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics or another technical field.
