Overview
The Research, Evaluation, Learning & Business Insight (REL&BI) Coordinator leads the development and implementation of research, evaluation, learning and strategic evidence systems. The role is responsible for generating high-quality evidence and transforming data and research findings into strategic intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Leads the development and implementation of research, evaluation, learning and strategic evidence systems.
- Oversees the design and quality assurance of research and evaluation studies.
- Ensures compliance with Save the Children’s Ethics & Evidence Generation Policy.
- Leads the implementation of the Country Learning Agenda and knowledge management systems.
- Strengthens the organisation’s capacity in economic evaluation and business insight.
- Plays a central role in building a learning culture within the organisation.
- Facilitates cross-project learning, knowledge exchange and documentation of programme insights.
- Ensures evidence is translated into actionable insights that improve programmes and influence decision-making.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in research, evaluation or evidence systems
- Strong experience in designing research and evaluation studies
- Demonstrated analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience facilitating organisational learning processes
- Experience producing research reports and analytical briefs
- Experience in economic evaluation, SROI or Value for Money analysis (Desirable)
- Experience supporting innovation research and development (Desirable)
- Experience working with international NGOs or development programmes (Desirable)
- Experience managing knowledge management systems (Desirable)
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI (Desirable)
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Economics, Development Studies, Statistics, Public Policy or related field
