Overview

Internship opportunity within the International Military Staff (IMS) Public Affairs and Strategic Communications Advisor (PASCAD) office, providing support on strategic communications and public affairs for NATO's senior military leadership.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily routine support for media operations, including reporting on international and national media.
  • Compile media environments.
  • Research specific subjects/topics.
  • Draft scene-setters for the Chair of the MC and IMS leadership.
  • Write web stories for the IMS/MC Webpage.
  • Update the Lines-to-Take database.
  • Provide other PA or admin-related support and/or additional tasks.
Required Experience

• Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry (desirable).

Qualifications
  • At least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago).
  • Bachelor's degree or in the final stage of a Master’s degree on media communications, public relations or political science (desirable).
  • Advance user of IT tools including Microsoft Office, SharePoint (desirable).
Other Details
Languages Required
• Proficiency in one of the two official NATO languages (English/French).
Languages Preferred
• Elementary knowledge of the second official NATO language (English/French).
Contract Duration
• 6-month traineeship
Work Modality
• Teleworking subject to business requirements.
Remuneration
• Monthly grant of € 1,334.96 • Travel reimbursement upon joining and leaving the organisation.
