Overview
Internship opportunity within the Joint Intelligence and Security Division (JISD) focusing on intelligence analysis, production, policy, and security coordination for NATO decision-makers and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to cyber security domain activities including policy development, vulnerability assessment analysis, and technical security tasks.
- Assist in security accreditation of NATO networks and workflow analysis.
- Work on security policy, including negotiations with nations and international organizations.
- Assist with Security Committee work and prepare courses on classified information protection.
- Enhance and implement the NATO HQ Security Awareness Programme, revising e-learning courses and developing awareness materials.
- Contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and optimizing training programs within the NATO Headquarters Security Force.
- Develop e-learning modules, streamline reporting processes, and update internal documentation.
- Provide administrative support, prepare planning documents, and develop dashboards.
- Identify and document administrative and operational workflows in the Close Protection Unit (CPU).
- Contribute to the Security Intelligence Branch (SIB) by gathering and analyzing intelligence.
Required Experience
• Previous experience with other international organizations, national administration, research or industry.
Qualifications
- At least two years of university level studies OR equivalent education OR currently a student OR a recent graduate (degree obtained no longer than 12 months ago).
- A Bachelor's degree or in the final stage of a Master’s degree relevant to the requested area of expertise.
