Overview
The intern will assist the Volunteer Coordinator with various aspects of volunteer recruitment, outreach, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with volunteer communication and onboarding, surveys of volunteers, attending events, updating information across databases, assisting with community outreach, and other duties as assigned.
- Assist with Volunteer Orientation, interviews, and outreach.
- Assist in maintaining accurate, up-to-date data across pertinent databases.
- Assist with volunteer appreciation events as well as collection of volunteer survey feedback.
- Attend and assist with community presentations.
- Creating and updating media/external facing material for the volunteer program
- Record hours and submit completed timesheet for each month via the IRC’s online Volunteer Dashboard.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or recent graduate
