Overview
Develop an action-oriented practitioners’ handbook to support the application of MHPSS–Peacebuilding integration across the programme cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop an inception report outlining proposed methodology, basic conceptual framework/theory of change, and draft outline of the Practitioner’s Handbook.
- Develop the first draft of the Practitioner’s Handbook covering theoretical frameworks, integration across the project cycle (assessments, framework development, outcomes, implementation, measurement), and sustainability.
- Incorporate feedback into the final version of the handbook and cross-check with the MEL Framework consultant.
Required Experience
- Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible professional experience spanning both the MHPSS and Peacebuilding fields.
- Specific experience in integrated MHPSS and Peacebuilding efforts is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in humanitarian response, peacebuilding and/or conflict prevention.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, community development, peace and conflict studies, development studies or anthropology from an accredited academic institution with at least ten years of relevant professional experience; or
- University degree in the above fields with twelve years of relevant professional experience.
