Overview

Lead and coordinate the development and enhancement of processes, tools, and guidance to support private sector engagement within the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Division. Provide technical advice and coordination support on strategic planning and performance monitoring related to private sector engagement initiatives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the development and enhancement of processes, tools, and guidance for private sector engagement.
  • Provide technical advice and coordination support on strategic planning and performance monitoring.
  • Coordinate cross-unit collaboration and planning across PSP’s key lines of business.
  • Lead the coordination of the annual planning process for PSP.
  • Oversee the preparation and dissemination of internal PSP knowledge products.
  • Coordinate partner stewardship and visibility initiatives.
  • Coordinate PSP’s contributions to private sector engagement components of key institutional events.
  • Coordinate monitoring and reporting on PSP performance indicators and partnership results.
  • Represent the Unit in internal coordination meetings.
  • Supervise and guide Unit members.
Required Experience

Minimum seven years of relevant, responsible, and progressive experience with an international organization, with a particular focus on private sector fundraising; Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and management; Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business, Law, International Development, International Relations, Migration Studies, Communications or a related field with seven years of relevant work experience; or, University degree in the above fields with nine years of relevant professional experience.

Fluency in English is required (oral and written).
Languages Preferred
Working knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish) is an advantage.
Contract Duration
