Overview
Provide coordination and support to the Health Sector/Cluster Coordinator in Lebanon, engaging with various stakeholders to establish strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- - Assist in coordinating and supporting day-to-day sectoral activities.
- - Prepare partner coordination notes, documenting meetings and action points.
- - Serve as the pen holder for Health Sector emergency reports, dashboards, and briefing notes.
- - Consolidate feedback and situation updates from partners.
- - Attend sectoral and intersectoral meetings and produce action points.
- - Support the updating and maintaining of the governorate-level stakeholder directory.
- - Provide administrative and logistical support for field missions, trainings, workshops, and meetings.
- - Conduct regular field missions to monitor the humanitarian situation and assess service delivery.
- - Support needs assessments and gap analyses at the subnational level.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in the public health or humanitarian/development sector.
- Experience in emergency management or humanitarian contexts, including coordination with partners and government counterparts.
- Demonstrated ability to support multi‑stakeholder coordination.
- Proven experience in managing and analyzing health and humanitarian data.
- Experience in developing and maintaining collaborative partnerships.
- Relevant work experience in WHO, other UN agencies; relevant non- governmental or humanitarian organizations.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to use AI assisted tools for productivity.
- Ability to navigate web based applications, shared drives, and collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with information management systems used in health or humanitarian settings (DHIS2, 3Ws/4Ws platforms).
- Self-motivated, ability to work with minimum supervision and tight deadlines.
- Sound security awareness.
Qualifications
First university degree in public health, nursing, social sciences or a related field, complemented by relevant training from an accredited/recognized institute.
