Overview
Provide strategic, operational, and portfolio leadership to ensure effective implementation of the S-CAP Operational Plan, including governance coordination, pipeline development, financing alignment, and results oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall strategic and operational leadership for S-CAP.
- Operationalize the S-CAP Operational Plan under TFC governance arrangements.
- Lead engagement with the Technical Advisory Group (TAG).
- Guide portfolio allocation and financing strategies across commodities, systems investments, technical assistance, and program management.
- Oversee leverage and DRM alignment across the S-CAP portfolio.
- Coordinate closely with World Bank operational teams and TTLs.
- Ensure coherence with GFF Country Engagement Strategies and PHC programs.
- Oversee results measurement, KPI tracking, and learning agenda.
- Provide strategic and technical oversight of resource mobilization efforts.
Required Experience
- Strategic understanding of key supply chain bottlenecks affecting PHC performance and slowing improvements in health outcomes for women, children, and adolescents.
- Experience with World Bank financing instruments (IPF, PforR, DPF) and track record of effectively navigating global and country-level processes within the World Bank.
- Experience managing large-scale multi-country programs.
- Ability to engage effectively (and diplomatically) with GFF partners in the C&SC ecosystem.
- Experience effectively leading a cross-functional task team with a matrix management structure.
