Overview
Oversee the installation, operation, and performance of a registration system during its maintenance phase, monitoring its performance and supervising issue resolution to ensure it is stable and functioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure sound system installation and handover, including functionality, documentation, source code, training materials, and user accounts.
- Ensure training is completed for end users and admin users.
- Establish communication channels for technical issues and issue reporting.
- Monitor issues reported by users, categorize them by criticality, and verify them before sending to the developer.
- Validate fixes provided by the developer by testing, ensuring no other features are broken, and confirming resolution with end users.
- Follow up on system performance, including smooth running, backup verification, and system log monitoring.
- Ensure documentation is updated, including issue logs, change logs, and manuals.
- Manage change requests for new features, recording requests, discussing approval with management, communicating decisions to the developer, and tracking progress.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years for advanced university degree holders or 4 years for first level university degree holders of demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and overseeing the development of enterprise computerized systems is required.
- Previous working experience with international organizations is desired.
Qualifications
• An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field is required. A first level university in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
