Overview

Provide day-to-day administrative, logistics, asset, fleet, and operational support to the ECTAD Programme, ensuring effective office management, vendor coordination, and logistical readiness.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative management of the ECTAD Programme Unit.
  • Serve as a focal point for liaison with government counterparts and service providers.
  • Oversee office supplies, equipment, vendor relations, and resource management.
  • Manage warehouse goods movement, inventory systems, and documentation.
  • Support import procedures and customs clearance.
  • Serve as focal point for IT-related issues.
  • Draft correspondence, memoranda, and reports.
  • Support onboarding of new staff, including travel and visa assistance.
  • Coordinate vehicle rentals and logistical support for field movement.
  • Ensure regular vehicle maintenance and compliance.
  • Comply with local regulations and oversee fleet operations.
  • Monitor fuel card usage and maintain fuel records.
  • Supervise office messengers and drivers.
  • Maintain records of office assets and manage disposal of obsolete assets.
  • Ensure premises security and supervise security guards.
  • Support petty cash management.
Required Experience
  • At least seven (7) years of related professional experience in field programme administration, logistics, and management.
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative and logistics role.
Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in business administration, accounting, public management, or a discipline relevant to FAO’s mandate.
