To provide technical and operational support that enhances national multi-hazard preparedness, response coordination, and end-to-end supply chain performance, and to contribute to the design and implementation of approaches to improve disaster risk management processes and procedures.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in emergency preparedness, logistics/supply chain, humanitarian response, and/or disaster management. Demonstrated experience in supply chain planning, vendor/market engagement, warehousing/transport operations, and/or food assistance delivery systems is desirable. Experience supporting government-led or inter‑agency emergency coordination and response is an asset. Experience in capacity strengthening, development of operational tools, and facilitation of trainings/simulations is desirable.
Advanced university degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Disaster Risk Management, Humanitarian Affairs, Public Policy/Administration, or related field; or a first university degree with additional years of relevant professional experience.
