Overview
The role involves contributing to the development of solution architectures in the ISR/C-UAS domain, defining and managing scoping and requirements, and acting as a technical contact point with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributes to the development of solution architectures in the ISR/C-UAS domain.
- Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for small-scale changes and assists with more complex ISR/C-UAS initiatives.
- Acts as a technical contact point between the organisation and suppliers concerning contract management.
- Supporting the development of Invitation for Bid by providing the ISR, EW and C-UAS System Requirement Specifications and assessing Bidders’ proposals.
- Supporting projects’ implementation by reviewing contractual technical documentation, performing tests and validations.
- Provide personal, scientific, technical and professional guidance to new staff and support the development and tutoring of staff and below as an integral part of career development.
Required Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience.
- Exceptionally, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
- Recent extensive experience (at least three years) in the C-UAS area at NATO or a comparable multinational or national position.
- This experience should include working with C-UAS capabilities, such as radars, electro optical and infrared (EO/IR) cameras, radiofrequency passive detection, acoustic sensors, and effectors such as jammers, and High Power Microwave (HPM).
- 3 years of experience and ability to demonstrate familiarity with electromagnetics, radiofrequencies and signal processing technologies and testing and verification of these systems.
- Experience with planning and execution of ISR, EW and C-UAS large exercises.
- Experience (within the past five years) in the development of policies, standard operating procedures, and/or capturing user requirements related to capability development.
- Experience in software defined radio (SDR) technologies and knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Matlab and C.
- Experience with ISR, EW and C-UAS operations.
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline.
