Overview
Lead the HR and Administration department strategically and technically in the Country Office/Beirut, overseeing HR and Admin compliance and strengthening support services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement NRC’s HR & Admin strategy, systems and procedures at the national level.
- Contribute to the Country’s strategy and the HR/Admin Plan of Action.
- Oversee the implementation of all HR and Admin-related policies, procedures and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with the local labor law and governmental regulations within Lebanon.
- Manage the HR and Admin team in all offices.
- Ensure proper quality control and audit of the country HR Admin function.
- Oversee related administrative duties and ensure compliance with legal and governmental reporting requirements.
- Lead on employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion, and staff care strategy.
- Determine workforce needs, identify human resource and competency gaps, and devise a development and workforce plan.
- Maintain a healthy and empowering office environment.
- Provide regular reporting and analysis.
- Instil a general culture of learning.
- Actively promote PSEA standards & principles.
- Implement SIP relevant activities.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience from working in a senior management role(or similar role) within HR preferably in a humanitarian/emergency/recovery, complex and volatile contexts.
- Proven capacity to lead, develop strategy, and implement change with strong communication, training, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the INGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector is a plus.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's in business administration, HR or any relevant field.
