Overview
Provides clerical and administrative support in the development and administration of the Division’s work on innovative finance and/or technical cooperation programmes and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen incoming mail and draft replies on non-technical aspects.
- Keep track of pending matters and follow up with other offices on deadlines.
- Respond to information requests and refer queries to appropriate personnel.
- Draft routine correspondence and proofread documents.
- Provide procedural support regarding financial procedures and rules.
- Retrieve information from SAP modules.
- Initiate and follow up on actions related to recruitment, payments, and travel.
- Perform administrative tasks such as arrangements for meetings and reservations.
- Prepare requisitions, purchase orders, and travel requests.
- Maintain filing systems and databases.
- Support the creation of information management systems and dashboards.
- Support the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
Required Experience
- Completed secondary education: at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- First/second-level university degree: at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in office procedures and practices, preferably within the UN system or in a multicultural environment, is desirable.
- Experience in providing support to managerial/professional staff and using administrative skills, is desirable.
- Experience/proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and internet, is required.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP software is desirable.
- Knowledge of using artificial intelligence tools is desirable.
Qualifications
- Completed higher secondary education, high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Formal secretarial/clerical training or equivalent is desirable.
