Overview

The People and Culture Officer will support staff and management in UNICEF Albania and UNICEF Kosovo on HR functions, ensuring a high level of HR business partnering and providing quality advice, coordination, and planning on HR processes and policies.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to management and contribute to HR strategy
  • Workforce planning and recruitment support to hiring managers
  • HR policy implementation through the interpretation of established guidelines and policies
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and capacity development
  • HR Administration process support and data focal point
  • Provide adhoc reports and manage sensitive information
Required Experience
  • At least One year of professional experience in human resource management in an international organization and/or large corporation is required.
  • Work experience with the UN or an international organization is desirable.
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
Qualifications

A university degree is required in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Psychology or other related areas.

Fluency in English and the local language (verbal and written) is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.
