Overview
Oversees the planning and implementation of activities for sustainable development of pepper cultivation and agroforestry systems, strengthening forest governance, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable use of natural resources. Ensures effective communication and articulation with KOICA and FAO for project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design a knowledge management strategy.
- Support monitoring of compliance with results and impact indicators.
- Provide support for organizing and processing information in Korean.
- Process information as input for project indicators and alignment with KOICA and FAO country programs.
- Submit a detailed work plan.
- Assist in the design and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Support the use of tools and instruments for the monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Oversee information gathering efforts by project technical staff.
- Identify project impact on related country strategies.
- Analyze information for results and deliverables to incorporate into the knowledge management strategy.
- Share the monitoring and evaluation plan and knowledge management strategy.
- Prepare and submit regular M&E reports (monthly, quarterly, annual).
- Provide monthly inputs to FPMIS and Country Office information system.
- Participate in and support KOICA's monthly coordination meetings.
- Support the final process of structuring and cleaning all information generated by the project.
- Support the preparation of progress reports to resource partners.
- Promote and disseminate good gender practices.
- Keep all information confidential.
- Support the project evaluation process.
- Actively participate in Country Office Monitoring Group meetings.
- Lead technical communication with the donor agency.
- Provide support for organizing lessons learned and best practices.
- Conduct compliance visits to assigned project areas.
- Facilitate communication between FAO Office in Colombia and KOICA Colombia Office.
- Support the management and planning of field visits.
- Consult, study, and familiarize with the PROTOCOL FOR REPORTING CASES OF SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE IN COMMUNITIES.
- Perform any other work related to the assigned subject matter.
- Complete the transfer report promptly upon leaving the organization.
Required Experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in rural development program/project operations and evaluations and KOICA-funded projects.
- Proven experience in developing professional M&E reports and technical documents in both Korean and English, with a deep understanding of Official Development Assistance (ODA) result frameworks (Logical Frameworks).
- Experience in drafting and presenting follow-up reports.
Qualifications
- Advanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in systems engineering; industrial engineering; agro-industrial engineering; agricultural sciences; economics, administration, or related disciplines.
- Consultants with bachelor`s degree need two additional years of relevant professional experience.
