Overview

The Data Science Officer will support the development and maintenance of information management systems, dashboards, reporting datasets, analytical tools, and data science products to enable evidence-based decision-making for WFP Haiti operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, datasets, and information management products.
  • Ensure standardized and quality-assured data inputs for reporting.
  • Develop and maintain interactive visualization tools.
  • Clean, validate, and document operational datasets.
  • Design and implement data science and automation projects.
  • Implement geospatial analyses.
  • Maintain technical documentation, code repositories, data dictionaries, and user guidance.
  • Support the Country Office data roadmap.
  • Provide technical support and capacity strengthening to colleagues and partners.
  • Develop or improve SOPs, templates, and workflows for information management and performance reporting.
  • Deliver ad hoc analytical products, figures, and briefing materials.
Required Experience

At least two (2) years of relevant experience in data management and/or data analytics.

Qualifications

Hold a degree and/or bootcamp certificate in computer sciences, programming, statistical sciences, data science, information management or other relevant fields; or a first level university degree with additional years of experience.
