Overview
The Programme Management Intern will support the Abidjan Convention Secretariat in implementing programmes related to marine and coastal ecosystems, pollution prevention, and sustainable blue economy initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the supervision and coordination of programme implementation.
- Conduct desk research.
- Support the organization of meetings, side events, webinars, and experts group meetings.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate assigned programmes/projects.
- Monitor and analyze programme/project development and implementation.
- Review documents and reports, identify problems, and initiate corrective actions.
- Liaise with relevant parties for follow-up actions.
- Research, analyze, and present information.
- Generate survey initiatives and design data collection tools.
- Organize and prepare written outputs.
- Assist in outreach activities and training workshops.
- Participate in field missions.
- Assist in activities related to budget funding and prepare related documents.
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and provide insights.
- Develop project proposals.
- Liaise with country counterparts, partners, consultants, and funding bodies.
Qualifications
- Are enrolled in a Master's or in a Ph.D. programme; or
- Are enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor's programme; or
- Are within one year after graduation from a Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. programme. in the field of communications, public relations, graphic design, or equivalent.
