Overview

Provides administrative support for Information Knowledge Management (IKM) tools and systems, acting as a portal manager and web master technician.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the administration for all IKM tools including ' EDMS, TT+, NlP, Exercise Portals as administrator.
  • Maintains and monitors IKM systems, tools and services.
  • Shares within the HQ the IKM operational support.
  • Coordinates with ACO wide higher, adjacent and subordinate IKM branches, cooperates and attends in IKM related Battlerhythm activities.
  • Works as part of a project team or working group as directed or assigned and contributes to Lessons Learned process.
  • Acts as the portal manager and web master technician, portal site manager and software administrator.
  • Responsible for tools implementation metadata management and administration.
  • Coordinates with divisional IKM designees and conducts routine IKM training as part of the newcomers program or as needed.
  • Cooperates within IKM branch and within Directorate Management in a collective collegial way.
  • IKM position is deployable, with 30 days notice to move in order to provide IKM capabilities as required.
Required Experience
  • Three years function related experience with higher secondary education and completed higher vocational training in lnformation Technology, lnformation Systems Engineering or related discipline to a formal technical or professional certification.
  • Secondary education and completed advanced vocational training in that discipline leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 5 years post related experience.
  • Experience in the administration for MS Outlook, MS 365, MS Sharepoint.
  • Experience in maintaining and monitoring lnformation Knowledge Management (lKM) systems, tools and services.
  • Experience as portal manager and web master, technician, portal site manager and software administrator.
  • Experience in tools implementation, metadata management and administration (Desirable).
  • Experience in coordinating with divisional IKM designees and willing to conduct routine IKM training as part of the newcomers program or as needed (Desirable).
  • Experience in working as part of a project team or working group as directed or assigned and contributes to Lessons Learned process (Desirable).
