Overview
The role is responsible for managing member and donor liaison for new business development, supporting pipeline tracking and donor engagement, and facilitating the production of high-quality proposals aligned with strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support donor landscape analysis, pipeline analysis, and market intelligence gathering.
- Track funding opportunities, donor engagement actions, and proposal development processes.
- Compile and maintain a funding tracker and analyze proposal submissions.
- Coordinate with teams to collect information for donor intelligence and opportunity assessment.
- Support the development of high-value or complex proposals.
- Advise and build knowledge on donor compliance requirements.
- Lead the documentation of proposal documents and outcomes.
- Coordinate the compilation and submission of proposals and concept notes.
- Lead the development of internal templates for opportunities.
- Facilitate proposal development and design workshops.
- Oversee the coordination of proposal amendments.
- Lead the delivery of capacity building training for staff and partners.
Required Experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated field experience
- Knowledge of Lebanon and the Syrian refugee context
- Prior demonstrated experience developing proposals for institutional donors (e.g. ECHO, SDC, UNICEF)
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with project members in various locations and from multiple organisations, including remote writing and revising proposal documents
- Prior experience of facilitating multi-stakeholders workshops and dialogues
- Experience with Save the Children Award Management System (AMS)
- Experience with NGOs in an international environment
- Prior experience in Lebanon or the region highly desirable
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Business, International Development, Finance/Accounting or similar
