Overview

To provide administrative support to the SCI Laos HR function in all facets of HR, including resourcing, engagement, compensation, benefits, reward, recognition, policy, payroll, learning and development.


Key Responsibilities
  • Advertise employee vacancies, assess applications, interview applicants, administer selection tests, prepare reports and make recommendations about staff appointments
  • Monitor and track probation/onboarding of new employees
  • Maintain personal records of employees on matters such as wages, benefits, leave and training
  • Administer pension and benefits
  • Assist arranging and conduct employee training
  • Provide advice and information to management and employees on human resource policies and procedures
  • Assist employees with work matters, career development, personal problems and industrial matters
  • Administer payroll to ensure staff salary is accurately calculated and paid as scheduled
  • Facilitate insurance compensation and medical expense claim and coordinate with insurance provider and social security organisation
  • Plan and facilitate employee orientation process
  • Support the continuous improvement of the human resources function overall
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives to enhance workforce engagement and organizational effectiveness
  • Participate in the review and continuous improvement of HR processes and systems
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and initiatives
  • Work closely with other HR peers on any co-assignments
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Human Resources and Administration
  • Demonstrated ability to manage recruitment processes, employee onboarding, performance management, and staff development initiatives
  • Experience working with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) to maintain employee records, generate reports, and support HR operations
  • Experience supporting payroll, benefits administration, and compliance activities is an advantage
Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related discipline
