Overview
The Human Resources Associate (Learning Initiatives and Communication) will support communications for the Department of Human Resources and assist with learning initiatives managed by the Staff Development and Learning Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, compile, edit, and publish communication content for internal channels.
- Support communications activities for DHR initiatives.
- Create and maintain digital communication spaces.
- Monitor and consolidate feedback and engagement data related to internal communications.
- Liaise with colleagues to gather content and align messaging.
- Assist in the implementation of learning initiatives by providing administrative and logistical support.
- Support coordination of operational aspects of learning events delivered by external service providers.
- Contribute to tracking and documentation of learning initiatives.
Required Experience
- Three years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor's degree; or five years of relevant experience with a high school diploma.
- Experience drafting, creating, editing, and publishing content for internal audiences.
- Experience supporting communications for projects, programmes, or organizational initiatives, preferably in an international, development, or UN-system environment.
- Experience gathering and consolidating inputs from multiple stakeholders and supporting timely dissemination of information across internal platforms.
- Experience with Learning & Development activities and events is an advantage.
- Experience working in UN and/or humanitarian organizations is an asset.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field from an accredited academic institution; or
- High school diploma.
