Overview
The Community Development Facilitator position aims to increase resilience to Climate Change and disasters in the Solomon Islands by providing alternative livelihood options for women and youth and including them in collective actions to improve their ability to access resources and market linkages.

Required Experience
3-5 years' experience in community development interventions
Qualifications
- A relevant diploma or certificate from a recognized institution
- Computer skills
- Understanding community empowerment approaches to development
- Good communication (local Knowledge)
- English (Read and Write)
- Problem Solving skills
- Convincing and mobilizing skills
- Ability to work in a diverse culture
- Networking skills
- Data collection Methodology
- Good idea on Gender relations
- Willingness to work in target communities and stay in communities for prolonged time
