Overview
The Technical Specialist-Partnerships supports the Partnership function within the Rohingya Response team, aiming to grow the partnership portfolio and develop a strong operational platform for affected children.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving the learning agenda and localization strategy.
- Updating knowledge of local actors and creating ownership amongst partners for learning and development.
- Administering the partnership's yearly work plan and partners’ capacity strengthening plan.
- Monitoring and revising partners’ capacity strengthening plan.
- Organizing feedback exchange meetings, orientations, and assessments.
- Conducting on-job trainings with partners.
- Supporting the Partnerships Manager in leading the expanding portfolio of Rohingya response partnership function.
- Supporting Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA) and a series of organizational capacity strengthening activities.
- Executing organizational capacity strengthening activities in a timely and quality manner.
Required Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience working with a humanitarian/development organisation in partnership management, organizational development, awards management, program management and operations.
- Proven experience in facilitating Organizational Capacity Assessment (OCA).
- Proven experience supporting partners in Organizational Capacity Deployment (OCD) plan.
- Proven experience monitoring and supporting partners in execution the OCDs.
- Competence in financial planning and budget expenditure monitoring.
- Good understanding of donor compliance, particularly GAC, ECW, DFAT, USAID, ECHO, DANIDA, etc.
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly into the field.
Qualifications
• Master’s in Social Science, Development Studies, International Relations, Sociology Anthropology or other relevant field of studies.
