Overview
Oversee and proactively manage waste and recycling operations across Oxfam’s Retail Division, working with stakeholders to deliver a compliant service and provide solutions that meet ethical, environmental, and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee & proactively manage waste & recycling operations.
- Work with external & internal stakeholders to deliver a first-class service.
- Ensure full compliance across all agreed SLA’s & related legislation & regulations.
- Provide waste & recycling solutions that meet ethical, environmental & financial objectives.
- Collect & analyse all data relating to waste & recycling.
- Explore new & innovative ways of working within the waste & recycling sector.
- Drive increased efficiencies.
- Contribute to & develop a vision & strategic direction for waste & recycling.
Required Experience
- Experience of working within the waste & recycling sector
- Experience across the waste & recycling sector
- Experience of working with 3rd Party suppliers & contractors
- Experience of managing multiple high value contracts at any one time
- Experience of managing performance of others (people and £s)
- Logistics experience
