Overview

The Grants and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for the efficient and timely management of a portfolio of grants from multiple donors and the development, maintenance, and management of strong and diverse partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manages all functions of IRC Haiti's Grants & Partnerships Unit, including Partners Development and growth, proposal development, reporting, compliance with donor rules, and other administrative tasks.
  • Oversees the development of all concept notes and proposals.
  • Serves as the point of contact for communications with HQ regarding all grant administration functions.
  • Leads and/or supports all project budget reviews, amendments, and realignments.
  • Promotes a culture of effective and respectful partnerships.
  • Leads and coordinates the Partner vetting process and related reports.
  • Provides routine technical advice to program and operations teams to ensure that all grants are implemented in compliance with IRC and donor regulations.
  • Oversees the development and production of all internal and external reports.
  • Supervises and develops the Partnerships Manager.
Required Experience
  • Minimum of six years of experience managing humanitarian grants in a multi-donor and multi-sector work environment.
  • Partnerships management experience is a comparative advantage.
  • Proven experience in an interdepartmental coordination role.
  • Extensive experience in developing large-scale, multi-sectoral funding proposals.
  • Advanced skills in donor report drafting and compilation.
  • In-depth knowledge of donor institutional compliance is required.
  • Previous experience in a context of conflict or protracted crisis is preferred.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in the governance, administration, and management of nonprofit grants, including grants management as well as partnership management.

Languages Required
• Excellent writing and editorial skills in English and French are required. • Fluency in English and French is required.
Languages Preferred
• Knowledge of the requirements of DOS, ECHO and SIDA is a particular advantage.

IRC office in Port-au-Prince with local travel to partner project sites if security and access allow.
