Overview

The National General Service Officer ensures the effective delivery of transport, facility maintenance, and general support services by coordinating day-to-day operational activities and ensuring compliance with organizational rules and administrative procedures.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating and supervising day-to-day operations of transport and building maintenance.
  • Drafting technical specifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates for procurements.
  • Monitoring contract implementation and supervising contractors.
  • Planning, implementing, and monitoring maintenance programmes for vehicles, generators, and building systems.
  • Monitoring the technical condition and utilization of vehicles, generators, and facility-related equipment.
  • Supervising the work of Driver/Mechanic, Building Maintenance Assistant, Senior Driver, Drivers, Senior Cook, Handymen, and Cleaners.
  • Maintaining communication with local authorities and external stakeholders for administrative matters.
  • Preparing regular reports on transport and facility operations.
Required Experience
  • A minimum of two years in logistics, fleet, facility management, asset management, engineering, including experience in coordinating operational activities.
  • Demonstrated experience in supervising staff and managing performance, including task allocation and monitoring.
Qualifications

• First-level university degree in logistics, engineering, business administration, or other related field.

Remuneration
Monthly remuneration, subject to social security deductions is 1,682.08 EUR. Social benefits will include participation in the Cigna medical insurance scheme and the OSCE Provident Fund. Appointments are normally made at Step 1 of the applicable OSCE salary scale. In exceptional cases, an initial appointment at up to Step 3 may be considered.
