Overview
The Driver will provide daily official transportation and general office support for IFC in Mexico City, Mexico. The role involves transporting staff, delegates, and visitors, as well as delivering documents and assisting with administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for official business for the Regional Director and other IFC staff.
- Ensure staff follow Road Safety Guidelines and safety of passengers and vehicle.
- Collect and deliver official documents to Government officials, IFC clients, Embassies, etc.
- Update IFC vehicles log-book of vehicles use.
- Ensure periodic maintenance and repair needs of IFC’s vehicles are performed.
- Perform daily vehicle security check up and ensure safe keeping of vehicles accessories.
- Take immediate actions required by rules and regulations in case of involvement in an accident.
- Follow UN directives and be informed of daily security advisory.
- Support Country Office administrative functions including mail sorting and distribution, photocopying, delivering mail/messages, obtaining authorizations, shredding/disposing documents, handling courier services, filing documents.
- Assist and follow up of incoming shipments including customs clearances.
- Provide any other relevant support to Country Office.
Required Experience
At least five years of experience as a driver, preferably with international organizations.

High school diploma
