Overview
The Senior Monitoring & Evaluation Associate will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation requirements of a project supporting Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection (BOTP’s) in Ireland, and will also contribute to the wider Mission's M&E needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of monitoring frameworks for projects supporting BOTP’s.
- Ensure project SOPs and development comply with IOM institutional guidelines.
- Analyze donor reporting requirements and ensure accurate information collection.
- Compile, summarize, and present information for team and external reports.
- Draft status reports for project implementation.
- Support administrative project requirements and coordinate with regional teams.
- Support wider Mission M&E requirements and input into project development.
- Maintain confidentiality of project-related matters and mitigate fraud.
Required Experience
- Four years of relevant professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar.
- Six years of relevant professional experience with a High School Degree in the above fields.
- Proven experience in a similar setting & capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy & confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic, ability to follow procedures clearly and work well with colleagues in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of information technology.
- Previous work experience in an international organization, non-governmental organisation would be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law and/or International Relations or similar.
- High School Degree in the above fields.
