Overview
The Administrative Associate will provide comprehensive administrative, logistical, and financial support for the implementation of the RE2CLID project in Burundi, under the supervision of the DRR-CCA Programme Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Screen requests for appointments and maintain calendars.
- Coordinate office support services for meetings, trainings, and events.
- Review, record, and process incoming mail and correspondence.
- Perform administrative duties such as monitoring contract extensions and leave recording.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to programme implementation.
- Assist in administrative processes including travel arrangements and payment requests.
- Research, compile, and organize background information.
- Monitor and process administrative actions in IOM's computerized systems.
- Support procurement processes.
- Liaise with Finance and relevant units to prepare and verify payments.
- Support internal and external communications.
- Create and maintain work unit's filing and reference systems.
- Perform other duties as required.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with five years of relevant experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields with three years of relevant professional experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience providing support in disaster risk reduction and response, or emergency environments is an advantage.
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups is an advantage.
- Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related fields from an accredited institution
