Overview
The Senior Reintegration Associate will coordinate the implementation of reintegration activities under an EU-funded initiative for IOM Mission in Cameroon.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating and monitoring project implementation.
- Establish and coordinate data-collection mechanisms.
- Assist in the review/set up of reintegration procedures and forms.
- Set up and implement M&E mechanisms for the reintegration process.
- Support information management and communication efforts.
- Prepare progress and other reports.
- Assist in developing an integrated capacity building plan.
- Supervise reintegration assistants and follow up on activities.
- Participate in relevant seminars and meetings.
- Undertake site visits and duty travel as required.
Required Experience
- Five years of relevant professional experience on project management and assistance voluntary return program.
- Experience in AVRR and reintegration assistance with a UN agency, or an international organization.
- Experience in managing EU funded projects.
- Experience in implementing AVRR projects from/to Europe, North Africa and West and Central Africa.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with relevant Government and Non-Governmental counterparts, international organizations and private sector entities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Political or Social Sciences, Law and/or International Relations or a related field from an accredited academic institution; OR
- School diploma.
