Overview
The IT Transition and Assurance Manager will transform IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour within the Service Management and Control team. This role is accountable for the full lifecycle of support for Service Delivery Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans, organises and conducts formal reviews and assessments of complex domains areas, cross-functional areas, and across the supply chain.
- Evaluates, appraises and identifies non-compliances with organisational standards and determines the underlying reasons for non-compliance.
- Manages the execution of business process improvements.
- Analyses and designs business processes to identify alternative solutions to improve efficiency, effectiveness and exploit new technologies and automation.
- Engages with delivery teams to confirm that products developed meet the service acceptance criteria and are to the required standard.
- Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups.
- Translates communications/stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables.
Required Experience
- A minimum requirement of 2 years post-related experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Service Management within a medium-large organisation;
- Extensive experience in Service Transition Management across multiple industries;
- Demonstrated experience in providing advice on the application of relevant Service Management and Service Improvement techniques to various functions or processes;
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure while delivering high-quality outcomes in Transition and Assurance.
Qualifications
- A minimum requirement of a Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline.
- Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post.
