Overview
The consultant will analyze how economic growth in Kenya has translated into poverty reduction and child poverty outcomes at national and sub-national levels, and identify policy options for inclusive, child-centred growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research activities including evidence review to identify analytical approaches.
- Compile and analyze data.
- Draft a working paper and brief.
Required Experience
- At least 8 years of professional experience in applied econometrics.
- Demonstrated experience doing similar empirical analysis on the relationship between economic growth and poverty.
- Experience and familiarity with national and sub-national analysis.
- Experience doing policy-oriented work.
- Experience working in low- or middle-income countries.
Qualifications
• PhD in Economics, Public/Social Policy or related field.
