Overview
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards within the IOM office premises in Chisinau.
Key Responsibilities
- Empty paper/waste bins, dust and water flowers, clean pots.
- Dust and clean printers.
- Empty paper/waste bins, clean and re-arrange tables and chairs in meeting/conference rooms.
- Wash floors, clean mirrors, disinfect washbasins and toilet seats, replenish supplies in bathrooms.
- Clean floors, tables, sinks, empty waste bins, replenish supplies, and maintain/clean kitchen appliances.
- Wash dishes (cups and glasses used during meetings only).
- Wash floors, dust and clean equipment, water flowers, and ensure wet cleaning of carpets in corridors.
- Sweep and wash outdoor front entry steps & access ramp, clean handrails.
- Report equipment malfunctioning.
- Clean coolers weekly.
- Polish cupboards, clean refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, tea kettles weekly.
- Wash floors and remove spider webs in the basement.
Required Experience
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Qualifications
School diploma and relevant experience in the cleaning services.
