Overview

The Programme Analyst will contribute substantively to programme design, formulation, and evaluation, ensuring initiatives are responsive to the needs of vulnerable communities and support the delivery of high-quality programmes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide substantive inputs to programme/project proposals and initiatives.
  • Lead the implementation of programme activities and coordination of proposal calls.
  • Review, coordinate, and monitor partner reports.
  • Train partners on Results Based Management.
  • Develop technical knowledge products and maintain relationships with national partners.
  • Monitor progress of implementation activities and finances.
  • Draft reports on monitoring missions and programme results.
  • Monitor budget implementation and provide inputs to financial reports.
  • Prepare project summaries, briefing notes, and donor profiles.
  • Provide technical support to inter-agency coordination.
  • Coordinate and organize advocacy campaigns, events, trainings, workshops, and knowledge products.
Required Experience
  • At least 2 years of progressively responsible work experience in development programme/project implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting and capacity building is required.
  • Experience in the Women’s Economic Empowerment is desirable.
  • Experience coordinating and liaising with government agencies and/or donors is desirable.
  • Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and spreadsheet and database packages, experience in handling of web-based management systems is required.
  • Experience in the use of a modern web-based ERP System, preferably Oracle Cloud, is desirable.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development, or a related field is required.
  • A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • A project/programme management certification would be an added advantage.

Fluency in English and Urdu is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language is desirable (French, Arabic, Chinese, Russian or Spanish).
