Overview

Support advocacy and communications, raise children's and women's issues, and strengthen public and political will in support of UNICEF mission and objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Production of communication products and materials
  • Maintaining media relations as well as with groups and organizations whose support is essential to the achievement of advocacy and communication objectives
  • Monitoring and evaluation of the section work plan activities
  • Ensuring that the contact lists of individuals, groups, organizations are maintained
  • Organizing and generating public support for special events and activities to promote country programme goals
Required Experience

At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Communication, Print and Broadcast Media, or Interactive Digital Media.

Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent (First Level University Degree) in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations and any other related fields.

Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset. Local language proficiency.
