Overview
The Project Analyst will support the implementation of the SAWASYA III joint programme and the Shaml Programme in Gaza, focusing on reinforcing equal access to justice for all Palestinians and strengthening the protection and leadership of women and girls survivors of violence.
Key Responsibilities
- Support programme partners with efficient and timely implementation of projects.
- Maintain project follow-up systems for actions and deadlines.
- Compile data and prepare draft reports, briefings, success stories, and press releases.
- Monitor the work of partner organizations and consultants.
- Provide advice and support to partners for optimal resource use and coordination.
- Review and strengthen CSO partners' quarterly reports.
- Facilitate joint discussions and brainstorming amongst CSOs.
- Support the rule of law and access to justice surge advisor assignment.
- Develop progress analysis and briefs on the situation of courts and justice institutions.
- Facilitate meetings and brainstorming sessions between CSOs working on rule of law and protection of women.
- Arrange and coordinate appointments and meetings for official missions.
- Organize workshops, activities, events, and project-site visits.
- Assist in developing project work plans and monitoring project budgets.
- Support audit and evaluation missions.
- Create e-requisitions and register goods receipt in Quantum.
- Draft formal correspondence in Arabic and English.
- Maintain programme document filing.
- Support communication and visibility efforts.
- Attend coordination meetings and provide updates.
Required Experience
- At least 7 years of professional experience in gender justice, women’s access to justice, and elimination of violence against women (EVAW) in conflict-affected settings.
- Professional experience with civil society organizations (CSOs), notably women-led organizations, particularly those working on access to justice and protection.
- Demonstrated experience in conducting, coordinating, and/or facilitating field-based activities, workshops, or sessions.
- Experience in supporting a team is required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in law, Human Rights, Gender Studies or International Relations or any other related fields.
