Overview

Organise one-off events for young people and contribute to the development of the local authority’s youth policy. This includes social media management and content creation, and involvement in organising the MOVE festival.


Key Responsibilities
  • Organise one-off events for young people in schools, at the La Cabane Youth Information Centre, and in collaboration with local youth partners.
  • Create content and manage the Youth Service’s social media channels, with a focus on TikTok.
  • Contribute to discussions on changing the MOVE festival’s format and attend preparatory meetings.
  • Help with logistics, communications and running the MOVE festival.
  • Participate in the day-to-day running of the Youth Service.

Remuneration
Shared accommodation with other volunteers in the area (arranged by the FDMJC22). The volunteer will be responsible for their own meals. The cost of hiring an electric bike may be covered; otherwise, it is possible to travel by bus.
