Overview
The Technician Electrical Networks is responsible for the supervision and maintenance of high-voltage, low-voltage, emergency, and telecommunications networks for vital installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises full-time and temporary staff.
- Installs specialized electrical panels and circuit breakers.
- Monitors and repairs faults on wall diagrams and panels.
- Connects high-voltage and low-voltage cables.
- Monitors electrical sub-stations for voltage, intensity, power factor, and signal panels.
- Checks transformers and detects malfunctions.
- Measures and records electrical data for sub-stations.
- Sets up safety programmes for switches.
- Operates high-voltage insulators, fuse breakers, circuit-breakers, grounds, and charging networks.
- Restores high-voltage and low-voltage networks and monitors their operation.
- Ensures safety measures for workforce and equipment.
- Maintains and repairs batteries and battery chargers.
- Detects buried cables and metal conducts before new construction.
- Monitors, tests, and troubleshoots fault safety interruptors.
- Monitors UPS systems for operating anomalies.
- Ensures new installations comply with regulations.
- Monitors the datagyr system for electrical billing.
- Ensures a 24/7 duty officer role via smartphone.
- Replaces defective meters and circuit breakers in housing.
- Performs other assigned duties.
Required Experience
- BAC-ETS diploma with 2 years of relevant experience.
- ETSS (level A2)/CESS diploma with 6 years of experience.
- ETSI (level A3) / CES 2D diploma with 10 years of experience.
- Relevant experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- BAC-ETS diploma in LV or HV electricity.
- ETSS (level A2)/CESS diploma.
- ETSI (level A3) / CES 2D diploma.
- Category B driver's licence.
