Overview
This internship focuses on researching and supporting the development of AI product and agentic systems within the World Bank Group's procurement processes. The role involves contributing to the modernization of digital platforms and enhancing user experiences through AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Research emerging generative AI, Copilot, and agentic system practices relevant to procurement, workflow guidance, knowledge retrieval, and digital service delivery.
- Support identification and documentation of high-value AI and agent use cases across the procurement lifecycle.
- Assist in developing agent concepts, user stories, journey maps, conversation flows, prompt patterns, and lightweight demonstration materials.
- Support testing and evaluation of AI-enabled experiences.
- Help organize AI knowledge resources, example prompts, test scenarios, evaluation notes, and reusable materials.
- Collect and synthesize feedback from staff, borrowers, champions, pilot participants, and project stakeholders.
- Prepare concise presentations, briefing notes, demos, and storytelling materials.
Required Experience
Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms; prompt design or AI evaluation experience is an advantage.
Qualifications
Current final-year undergraduate student, master's student, PhD student, in computer science, data science, information systems, human-centered design, product management, business, public policy, international development, or a related field.
