Overview
The role supports the Allied Air Command (AIRCOM) Resourcing Management Office (ARMO) in managing logistics requirements for NATO 2030 initiatives. It involves providing expert advice, administrative and project support, and stakeholder management for logistics aspects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supports the ARMO Manager in collecting, preparing, and validating AIRCOM requirements documentation impacting LOG lines of effort.
- Provides subject-matter expert advice and documentary support to ARMO Manager, AIRCOM leadership, and other NATO bodies concerning capability delivery processes.
- Provides Quality Assurance of Operational Requirement Statement (ORS) documentation and coordination of pre-initiation support for LOG requirements.
- Manages and coordinates the collection, evaluation, and submission of LOG requirements within AIRCOM and its subordinate entities.
- Maintains liaison with external entities for coordination on NATO 2030 ARMO LOG projects.
- Supports the development and implementation of policy, doctrine, and supplementary AIRCOM documents regarding NATO 2030 LOG support.
- Provides direction and guidance of ARMO products linked to the LOG community at ACO and ACT level.
- Coordinates with SHAPE Directorates, Divisions, Commands, ACT, NATO HQ, and NATO Agencies for LOG requests.
- Represents ARMO interests at LOG plan/project related meetings, conferences, boards, and working groups.
- Provides support and coordination for meetings, workshops, and conferences related to NATO 2030 Resourcing for LOG ARMO projects/products.
- Supports and leads LOG-related representative functions to NCS and non-NATO entities for the implementation of NATO 2030 ARMO projects.
- Responsible for NATO 2030 ARMO resource planning, coordinating LOG requirements and new capabilities with outside agencies and commands.
- Executes duties requiring frequent internal and external high-level contacts, including coordination and negotiation with senior civilian and military host nation authorities.
- Represents Headquarters' interests within NATO directives, technical directives, and manuals.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years function related experience is required. Exceptionally, 4 years post related experience will be accepted with Higher Secondary education and advanced vocational training.
- Experience is required in the management of projects, involving the development and implementation of business processes, acquiring and utilising resources and skills within cost, timescale, and quality parameters.
- Experience in strategic planning is required.
- Experience within a LOG management project/team is desired.
- Experience in AIR LOG development is desired.
- Technical understanding of AIR LOG Systems is desired.
Qualifications
- University Degree in a relevant discipline such as project management, business administration, management information systems, accounting, public administration, operations research, information systems engineering, or quality engineering.
- Exceptionally, Higher Secondary education with successful completion of advanced vocational training in a relevant discipline leading to a professional qualification/accreditation will be accepted.
