Overview
The Senior Grants and Partnerships Coordinator is responsible for the oversight and management of the Country Programs Grants and Partnerships, providing strategic guidance on program development, grants management, compliance, and donor relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate proposal development processes.
- Monitor major donor trends and funding opportunities.
- Provide technical guidance on IRC and donor regulations.
- Ensure timely and high-quality report submission to donors.
- Coordinate regular project cycle meetings.
- Manage and/or support all agreement reviews, revisions, amendments and budget realignments.
- Support the partnership team in sub-granting/partnership processes.
- Supervise Grants team and Partnerships Coordinator.
- Oversee partnerships staff to ensure that IRC partners’ projects are tracked and monitored.
- Lead and support the development of local partner capacity development approaches and processes.
- Review key project reports prepared by Partnerships Coordinator/Managers.
- Supervise Grants staff and liaise closely with the Partnership Coordinator in management of sub-grants.
Required Experience
Experience with US government grants, DFAT, ECHO, EU, FCDO, UNHCR, and private funding sources. At least five years of similar work experience, preferably with peer NGOs, demonstrating experience in proposal development, preparation of logical frameworks, budgets and grant management. At least two years’ experience in sector of international humanitarian/emergency or developmental contexts with multiple sectors.
Qualifications
Relevant degree (Bachelors) in development studies, social sciences, or other relevant fields.
