Overview

The National Consultant on Anti Corruption will conduct a legal assessment of Liberia's judicial response to corruption-related offenses and provide recommendations for the National Anti-Corruption Court.


Key Responsibilities
  • Produce an inception report detailing initial consultations and proposed methodology.
  • Produce a mapping and assessment report of gaps and challenges in the judicial response to corruption.
  • Conduct a review of the proposed statutes of the National Anti-Corruption Court and provide recommendations.
  • Lead a peer review forum on complementarity between courts and integrity institutions.
Required Experience

A minimum of seven years of professional experience as a practicing lawyer, prosecutor, judge, legal consultant or advisor in the field of human rights and/or the fight against corruption is required. A minimum of three years of professional experience in legal drafting is required. A minimum of three years of professional experience in providing legal advisory services to national and/or international policy makers on law, human rights or anti-corruption related matters is required.

Qualifications

At least a master’s degree in law, human rights, or other related social science is required.
