Overview
Provide assistance with the processing of applications for Temporary Protection (TP) for Ukrainian Nationals and Third Country Nationals (TCNs) fleeing Ukraine and arriving in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide information relating to Temporary Protection to TP applicants.
- Provide translation and interpretation services to beneficiaries, DOJ and relevant stakeholders.
- Assist and guide beneficiaries in the completion of application and registration forms.
- Assist transport and logistical coordination for arrivals.
- Collect, verify and support in the examination and translation of documentation and certificates.
- Assist in the identification of indicators of possible vulnerable cases.
- Assist with the organization and/or scheduling of beneficiaries’ appointments.
- Submit statistics and/or reports of the work performed.
- Maintain effective working relationships with DOJ and other stakeholders.
- Follow established procedures to help prevent fraud and malfeasance.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for project activities.
- Provide operational support to other duty stations.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Required Experience
- High school diploma with four years of relevant experience; or, Bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups.
- Experience working in a multicultural setting.
- Experience working with asylum seekers and refugees.
- Prior experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization is an advantage.
Qualifications
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Psychology or related fields from an accredited academic institution.
