INFORMATION SYSTEMS ASSISTANT (Temporary Job Opening), G5

Overview

The Information Systems Assistant will provide basic technical support on software systems, assist in the planning, development, and maintenance of application software, and support the configuration and testing of mobile applications and devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as focal point for receipt and processing of user requests.
• Provides basic technical support on relevant software systems applications.
• Provides basic support in the planning, specification, design, development, implementation and maintenance of customized application software systems.
• Assists in the redevelopment and maintenance of customized software applications.
• Provides support on software development matters.
• Maintains regular contact with users and technical staff.
• Conducts research on new technologies.
• Supports the configuration, testing and quality assurance of mobile applications and devices.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Required Experience

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in information systems analysis and programming, systems administration and maintenance, software development, technical writing or related areas are required. 2 years of experience in HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript development and a major Content Management System (CMS) such as Drupal or Wordpress is desirable. 3 years of experience in telecom mobile application and device testing across 5G SA/NSA, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and legacy cellular networks, performing functional, interoperability, performance, and regression testing is desirable.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required. The minimum year of relevant experience is reduced from five (5) to three (3) for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher.
